when is a good time to get a good deal?....here,all the time of course!!!

in the antique world, if you are buying several of something.....or if they have had it for a long time, a better price might be possible....... it never hurts to ask ....and you might get an even better deal.....
like if you ever want a whole shelf of something....you could get a very good deal here with me...!!!
we cant be very flexible on our new stuff or refinished or the furniture we make..... but on the antique things, sometimes we have a little leeway...and sometimes we are just glad to get our money back on something....like right now on a wonderful folkart parrot that i paid way too much for....that seems to be the opinion so far anyway...i thought it was so cool!!!!

so dont be shy when it comes to antiques or if you are buying a lot you might get a better price....it really bugs some dealers....but if you are gentle about it as in " can you do better" or " what if i took all 10?" you might get a little better price....
. this seems to be a permanent part of the antique world...but there is no rigid rule....
the antique world isnt l like the hallmark world...thank heavens!!!!...
its very uncool to offer a lower price and then not take it if the owner agrees.......someone did that to me ths week......
