today

these are our petunias and mandevilla in front of the store.....
we had such neat people in today..i really think trash to treasure and antiques attracts the most interesting and creative people....
i love the variety .....today at the same time we had a black couple, rare!!, an amish family, a very decorated girl with tatoos and lots of our regulars....the black couple had bought something 3 yrs ago, and they came to pick it up, he reminded me i said he could leave it 20 yrs!! i wanted to ask if they were in obamas district, they were from chicago, ..but didnt, luckily we found their cabinet easily....

one lady had a cane, her husband had made it for her and the handle looked justs like a saw handle....

i kind of overheard a complaint...the woman said we had too many confusing prices, pink sale tags, half price room, 20% off signs....i guess shes right..but its our sale week and its complicated....and being here it is always kind of complicated.... we definitely arent hallmark....luckily they didnt see the exchange i had with a stained glass buyer at the yardsale....

..we were packed and in partial chaos ..and i got called to figure this one out.... ....we had 2 identical windows one for 295 one for 150....the lady was interested and wanted an explanation...i couldnt see any difference and really couldnt remember how much we had in them...as far as i could see there wasnt any even half way intelligent reason to give so i just gave up and said you can have either one for 150...she took them both..

if she thinks we are a little nutty and disorganized~~ well, we hope she comes back...she was happy anyway..

it takes a lot of effort to get all this stuff priced right..

it was a good day....

Oh goodie, I get to be the first to comment on your yard sale...sounds sooo fun, I want to see pictures of the mobs of people though. And was it financially successful too? Love your tuxedo man, so out of the box...well not for you guys! Bet the customers had so much fun. I told you that they dont care about the price of gas...they just want to come buy a treasure from your shop. Love the double door shelf on the other post. lucky person who buys it. Love all your space.
