a cloche party

we have a big selection of cloches......they are so much fun to make...

nice empty ones waiting to be filled....from 12$ to 36$
a nice woodsy one with a bird.....

isnt he cute on a cake plate? hes just getting started , and needs some mica snow and maybe a bow....

a little gold angel...

i FIRST heard about cloches from the gardening world....they were used in england and france as little covers for the plants on cold nights.....then i learned how the victorians used them....so save taxidermy or sentimental fragile thngs, like the wax boquets from their wedding....

now they are popular again....an d i guess everybody has a new way to create with them...... at the store we have several with little christmas dioramas....

if i get time i want to make one with little cut outs of the grand kids and maybe some little starwars guys.....

seee some more HERE

if you came to the winter wonderland part 2....thank you....

Cloches are so much fun to decorate with. I have one that I put on top of a round silver tray. I am always finding new ways to display it.

Wouldn't put some live things like a bird or mouse or insect under those cloches. Sadly to look. Hate them.

Wow, you really do have a lot of cloches. I love the way yours are all displayed. They are so fun to decorate in and with. Thank you so much for joining the "Holiday Cloche Party". I really appreciate it. Hugs, Marty

Ann, Thank you so much for the shout-out to my cloches for Marty's party. I had fun w/them, even though they were last minute.
One of these days, I'm gonna make it up to see ya. Maybe the spring when we go up to the Smith Brothers furniture show in Berne. Your place fascinates me...
