road trip....springfield in september

WE WENT TO THE BIG SPRINGFIELD OHIO FLEA MARKET .....

AND FILLED THE TRUCK WITH GREAT STUFF FOR THE STORE....

Dh says STOP....AND I WASNT NEAR DONE!!

dang.. I WANTED THAT NEAT CUPBOARD AT THE TOP SO BAD... WOULDNT IT LOOK GREAT IN THE STORE??? we found it at the end after the truck was almost crammed full....

he had great gates AND 2 WINDMILLS FOR ME...

we saw lots of white furniture...white is such a classic!!! and lots of recycled, repurposed pieces...
loading up, im sure glad i ignored his idea of just taking the pick up truck....

there was so much to choose from...

JUNK AND JUNKERS EVERYWHERE....

THEY PROBABLY HAVE OVER 2000 DEALERS SET UP...WE NEVER MAKE IT TO THE

INSIDE DEALERS... MOSTLY WE SHOP THE GUYS IN THE FIELD....

IT WAS OUR ANNIVERSARY...MAKING IT HARD FOR DH TO SAY NO.... I WAS IN HOG HEAVEN...

dh was so good ... it was a hard load..with lotsof bulky stuff to fit in.....and of course after we

were full i found a big gorgeous diningroom set!!! but we had to leave it...

here she is again , waving, ...i almost bought a casket but it was too creepy...also saw lots of dogs in strollers?????


WHAT WE BOUGHT..porch posts, copper pots from turkey, big jugs from egypt, a 7 ft tall stack bookcase, a princess dresser, 2 nice clean cheap oak commodes, cute cute
rock people, bright recycled ROOSTERS, DONKEYS,

PUMPKINS,

AND SCARECROWS and witches...,

BOTTLE TREES,

OLD SPOOLS AND BOBBINS, HUGE WOOD BOWLS,

GRAPEVINE TREES,NICE PORCELAIN HANDS,

NICE BIG ARCHETECTURAL PARTS, BIRD CAGES, some funky corbels, cute little birds and frogs,

big wooden fish, little stone buddah heads, nice iron gates, 2WINDMILLS, stained glass, old advertizing cans....

A BIG PILE OF LETTERS ALREADY CUT OUT OF OLD LICIENCE PLATES....YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SIGNS...

it was our 25th anniversary....

i wish i could do this every week...

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT OUR CUSTOMERS.

well one of the things anyway......WE CAN NEVER GET TOO MUCH STUFF... no one ever complains about that!!! ...and if its a big messy pile thats usually ok too.... like today when its all over the place waiting to be put away...

the cutest conversation i heard was 2 old guys ....one selling me the licence plates...his buddy came up and said... WE MADE IT ANOTHER YEAR!!! thats what i like about junkers, they dont know when to quit...
another guy kind of irritated me......me being a good democrat,,but tolerant of the other side!!!SINCE I EVEN HAVE SOME IN MY FAMILY...

id just bought about 1000$$$ from him.. he seemed like a nice guy....and out of the blue he started ripping on obama...so out of place...i should have left all his stuff...
he probably drives around all year alone listening to talk radio.... it was wierd and so hateful.
