spring report

yay....ITS SPRING....
WE HAVE BIRDS UNDER THE AWNING TRYING TO NEST, THE BACK PORCH IS FILLING UP FAST....TONS OF NEW GREENERY AND FLORALS ARE IN....

THE GARDEN IRON WILL BE COMING IN SOON.... we are so ready for the warm season....
running the store this time of year is really scary..... tons of orders coming in now ....and now isn't really a busy time of year..in other words we are spending lots more than we are taking in....if dh seems harried that's probably why......its called faith i guess... we buy now to sell later...ANYWAY i think we got good stuff this year for spring and summer and hope our wonderful customers agree......

our economic view is ....THINGS ARE GETTING WAY BETTER, I'm hearing good reports from lots of parts of the retail/show/junk/boutique world......all kinds of business people flow thru the store and i love to hear their reports.... and we are still here and hoping for another good year...

i love the internet, it inspires me, and connects me with so many fun people...

i continue to be on the slowtrack in the cyber world.... trying not to fall off the learning curve....i still cant get the pictures where i want them or do half the things my daughter in law and grandkids can do..or what my computer could do with a different driver.......i wish my blog and facebook could look better but hey!!! never give up right? ....

have i mentioned my son Jon? hes a huge part of our business.... well, lately he is getting all the creative credit on the furniture......that is so wrong!!!! he must be sending out brain waves.. he does a lot and i do a lot...basically we work together on about everything...the creative ideas are the easy part.... we have more than could ever get done....its hard sometimes to pick just one or 2 out of the flow .
don't get me wrong , i would never be jealous of Jon.... im so glad he likes this business and that the customers react to him so well...
I MUST BE GETTING TO THAT AGE where women become invisible....also so wrong!!!
. right now we are kind of excited about BUN FEET.., his amish crew made us a whole pile of nice fat ones...
.. AND YESTERDAY HE BOUGHT A BIG PIANO TO TURN INTO A BLANKET CHEST..ALSO HE HAS BROUGHT IN LOTS MORE CEILING TIN...FROM THE DEPTHS OF DETROIT..
